Bike Safari from Kilimanjaro to the Ngorongoro Crater

We are proud to be the only agency offering this oneofakind adventure: a bike safari from the majestic slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro to the lush, green highlands of the Ngorongoro Crater. On this journey, you’ll ride at your own pace, fully immersed in the everchanging landscapes of Tanzania. This isn’t your typical safari it’s a truly authentic biking experience, offering a fresh and intimate way to connect with nature. feel the earth beneath your wheels as you explore the hidden details and raw beauty of the wild.
Along the way, you’ll visit traditional villages, meet local communities, and hear the stories that bring Tanzania’s culture to life. We offer this unique tour for individuals, small groups, and even up to 100 participants as a charity event.
To complete your experience, we highly recommend a Jeep Safari in the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the Garden of Eden, or if you have more time a 3day safari in the iconic Serengeti.

7 Days Cycling Tour

Day 1

Arrivel Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to our beautifull Kilemakyaro Mountain Lodge. We do the Bike fitting and after dinner your tour guide will brief everybody on the challenge ahead

Day 2

Moshi to Olpopongi Maasai Village (61kms) We leave our hotel and cycle downhill for the first couple of miles on tarmac roads into Moshi. We pass a number of Maasai villages and reach our overnight camp at the Olpopongi Maasai Village. We are given an insight into the authentic Maasai way of life through the museum they keep.

Day 3

West Kilimanjaro to Arusha (81kms) We cycle today along a mainly flat route on a mixture of tarmac and dirt roads to the major town of Arusha where we will overnight at the Lush garden Hotel or similar.

Day 4

rusha to Tarangire National Park (98kms) We cycle today to the edge of the Tarangire National Park on all flat tarmac roads that leads to our overnight accommodation at Kigongoni campsite.

Day 5

arangire National Park to Lake Manyara National Park (66kms). We cycle today to lake Manyara National Park at the edge of the Great Rift Valley, the home to a multitude of species. The route today is once again on all tarmac roads and is relatively flat. We overnight at Njake Lodge.

Day 6

Lake Manyara National Park to Ngorongoro Gate (39kms). We cycle today to our finish line at the gates Ngorongoro National Park. This is a very steep section
as we have to cycle all the way up the Rift Valley. We are rewarded with beautifull sights to the Lake Manyara. Overnight in Karatu.

Day 7

Option for a Safari or back Arusha Today you have an opportunity to explore Ngorongoro National Park which is often referred to as ‘The Garden of Eden’and our third National Park in as many days. Ngorongoro is famous for its profusion of wildlife that teams within the extinct crater.
You can choose to drive back to Arusha for a little citytour with our guide.
